Island Batik Unboxing!

I feel very fortunate to be part of a fantastic team of Ambassadors chosen to create beautiful things out of some fantastic fabrics and other related products. I have always loved batik fabrics since the very first time I laid eyes on them. I will be post at least one major project each month, and probably a few others. I am always working on a few things at once. I look forward to sharing some of the goodness brought to me! Follow me in my journey with Island Batik this year: my Instagram is the best place to catch the newest projects @bestquilter.

I have also included some great closeup pictures of the fabrics and goodies that came in my box.

A fun set of 2 1/2" strips with 2 coordinates of 2 yards each. Oh, the possibilities!

Stash rolls. These are a way to build up your stash of colors or to fill holes in your batik collection.

And 6 yards of a great neutral!

These solid batiks are amazing. Bright, Crisp, Intense. Sigh....

AND this! An Accuquilt GO cutter! I have used this a bit and can't wait to use it more. My project for March will be using the Block shown here. It will be fantastic! The 8" cube has so many options and will make it so much easier to get quilting.

Some more great sponsor products also showed up in our box: I always need machine needles and these are needles that will make sewing on batiks easier.

Look at these yummy Auriful Threads.

Batting:

I am off to create some more fabulous things...what will be next?

Thanks to the sponsors:
