By Annie! It's in the bag.

My Island Batik project for October was to make a ByAnnie bag.

I chose the Catch all Caddy. The pattern, Soft and Stable stabilizer, and all hardware are from ByAnnie.

I wanted a bit of a monochromatic bag so I went with these greens, with a print inside.

I quilted the fabrics with this 3/4" bubble pattern. I really like close tight quilting for my bags. I quilted it on my Handi Quilter Forte.

I prepped all the pieces, and set up while reading the entire pattern.

I get comfy for this step. It helps to avoid mistakes.

I work in the steps of the pattern. ByAnnie projects are pretty important to follow the steps. Also. Clips are VERY IMPORTANT.

I sewed everything on my Juki straight stitch machine. The ByAnnie stiletto is another very important tool.

These inside pockets are pretty cool.

And the other side.

There are 2 pockets on one side and 3 on the other.

Also, the binding is barely darker than the main fabric. I really like it. Just a hint of color difference.

It finished up really quickly and I think I will be making more of these. I think I want want for picnics! I need a quick go bag for that, as we head out to a local beach often in the summer.

Right now I will use it in my studio for my most used tools.

I have made about 10 ByAnnie bags, and I love each one.
